Shellie & Matt Engagement Session
When I met Shellie and Matt for their wedding consult, I knew we were going to immediately hit it off. We sat at a restaurant overlooking the Puget Sound, and shared a plate of nachos they told me how they met and fell in love, how much they love exploring the outdoors together, and their plans for their spring wedding in Seattle. They were laid back and incredibly sweet with one another, friendly and easy to talk to.
We met close to their home in Steilacoom for their engagement session about an hour and a half before sunset. It was cold and windy, but the light was absolutely gorgeous. Shellie was a rockstar and looked incredible in her red dress! My favorite part was that she quickly ditched her heels for flip flops and didn’t bat an eye. My kind of girl! After taking some photos at a park, we then moved to the waterfront on Saltars Point Beach, and watched the sun set together. They cozied up under a blanket, were amazing with every prompt I gave them and made my job SO easy. Their connection with one another is incredible and shows in every image. Matt was so cute with her the whole time, making her laugh and pointing out seals as they popped their heads out of the ocean. Can’t wait for their wedding day in April!
